It was just a good match for one night in Mold with fantastic value for money. The waiting staff were friendly and helpful, which made our stay more enjoyable. Check the hotel's pet policy if you're traveling with animals.

    friendly staff
    beautiful grounds
    clean room
    noisy floorboards
    hot shower

the gardens are so beautiful and the staff were super friendly, made me feel at home. the room was clean and comfy, really enjoyed the oldie worldie vibe. loved sittin in the bar area, chillin with a drink after a long day. the breakfast was also really nice, plenty of options to choose from.

but they really need to sort out the noisy floorboards and the shower was way too hot to use! not a great way to start the day.

    countryside views
    welcoming staff
    access to attractions
    poor soundproofing

We enjoyed a lovely family gathering here, with the stunning countryside views making our stay memorable. The welcoming staff truly added to our experience. The location's easy access to nearby attractions was a real plus for outings with my sister and the kids.

My kids wished for better soundproofing between rooms.

great experience but lacking a few details

The room offered a comfortable atmosphere with an impressive, large TV that made evenings enjoyable. The staff exuded friendliness and went out of their way to assist, contributing to an overall positive experience.

I found certain amenities could use a bit more attention.

    beautiful grounds

The beautiful grounds and spacious Deluxe Double Room made for a pleasant stay. The receptionist’s helpfulness stood out, enhancing the experience. The staircase leading to the rooms adds a lovely, historic charm, but clearer communication about ongoing work would be beneficial.

    victorian hall
    grand staircase
    tranquil gardens
    seating areas
    relaxation space

The beautiful Victorian hall was a real treat, tastefully modernised while keeping its charm. I adored the grand staircase and the tranquil gardens, making it perfect for a relaxing stroll in the fresh air.

More seating areas for relaxation would be helpful.

    tasty meals
    nice vibe
    limited staff availability

We had a great time at this hotel with friends! We visited the local gardens and the nearby castle, which were both so much fun. The hotel has a nice vibe, and the meals were tasty. Just be aware that the bar area is small with limited tables, so plan accordingly!

We faced a bit of a hiccup with the service as we sometimes had to go to reception to get the bartender. It would have been nicer if there were staff available at all times.

    Charming, charming, charming.

I absolutely loved the stunning grounds and beautiful gardens that made every moment feel like a fairy tale! The personalized breakfast service by Wendy was a delightful touch, making me feel truly special. Lovely grounds but cleaner needed

The hotel grounds are amazing, really pretty and relaxing! Staff were super friendly and always smiled. Unfortunately, the room was pretty dirty—hair on cups and dust everywhere. the shower was either too hot or too cold, so that wasn’t great. it just needs a good cleanup before it's a nice place to stay.
